I recently retired from Tulsa Public Schools, as a Library Media Specialist. I come from a family of Makers, in that my Dad was a manufacturing jeweler, who also spent several years building our family home. My husband Jeff is a retired financier who spends a considerable amount of time in his woodworking shop and our son Conrad is a glassblower. Though I am not a strong creator, I do have a never ending drive to minimize waste and am continually looking for opportunities to repurpose dated material.
