Hello, I'm Tina Ray. I am the owner, designer, and creator of Silver Star Stone. I was born and raised in South West Oklahoma and live with my beloved fur baby, Bella Star, in Tulsa. I hand craft one of a kind pieces of jewelry and other gifts with sterling silver and semi-precious stones. I started beading matching seed bead necklaces and bracelets in 1992 after the death of my son's father. I started a personal healing journey in 2018 after years of traumatic life circumstances, which led me back to making jewelry. I made jewelry for friends in 2019 as gifts after only making a few pieces for myself throughout the years, and they encouraged me to start making more. I've never wanted to wear jewelry that everyone else wears when I started creating. When something was poplar, everyone was wearing it. I'm inspired by vintage, antique, and jewelry from the Middle Ages. I craft and sell my jewelry at various markets, events, festivals, and stores. I place a star on each piece of jewelry that is created. It is my signature mark that honors my family and my healing journey. I started my jewelry business after my mom passed away in 2019. Her name was Twinkle, and that is where the star idea came from. I watched her fade away with Alzheimer's while healing myself from multiple life changing circumstances, car and motorcycle wrecks, and being on prescribed medications that I did not need most of my life. I started weaning myself off of various medications around 2013 that numbed my body and creative ideas. I'm the happiest and healthiest I've ever been in my life. The healing brought back my vitality, creativity, and love for natural healing by using healing stone jewelry, crystals, meditation, yoga, nature, music, dancing, food, and essential oils. I'm also a Young Living Essential Oil Independent Distributor. I hand-picked all my stones, sterling silver, and jewelry supplies from a local bead supplier. My jewelry is regularly charged by the moon, is exposed to my singing bowl vibrations, blessed, and cleansed with sage. I'm a photography enthusiasts, love cooking/baking , eating good clean food, listening to music, dancing, hanging with friends, and love being outdoors hiking and hunting rocks and wood for my displays and projects with my fur baby.
