WaterWorks Art Center facilitates quality art programs for children and adults. Our expanded, recently renovated facility provides over 7500 square feet of useable space in the historic WaterWorks Building (built 1911) located in historic Newblock Park in the City of Tulsa. Currently, we have more than 30 contract instructors; 4 full-time staff; 3 full-time seasonal employees; and an Advisory Council comprised of 12 dedicated volunteer members. WaterWorks Art Center divides their arts education offerings into five general areas of interest: Clay & Stone; Jewelry; Glass & Mosaics; Painting, Drawing & Printmaking; and Fiber/Textiles/Basketry. We provide four seasonal catalogs of classes and workshops each year with an average of 40 different classes and workshops offered each season! In the summer, we provide ten weeks of Summer Art Camp for children (ages 7-11) and tweens (ages 12-15) and one week of art camp during Spring Break in mid-March for children ages 7-11.
